Hello fellow Qi Movers,

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Is it moving by fast or slow? I remember learning in cognitive psychology that when we travel somewhere new, it feels as though it takes longer than when we travel back home, even if it's the same distance. Time has a funny way of shifting through the lens of our own perspective. We possess the uncanny ability to process it differently at different moments and in unique ways.

“Time and space always change, but there is something which is eternal and changeless.”

- Ramana Maharshi

Yes, we're in a physical world governed by space and time, but it is filtered through the prism of our awareness. And our awareness is everlasting, unending, and immortal. It is through this power of consciousness that we get a glimpse of no time, and no space, just the eternal now. And when we connect and entrain to this primordial force, our body-mind system relaxes, and we feel centered and grounded, and simultaneously expanded and limitless.

But how do we facilitate this connection? The trick is, there is nothing to do, no where to go, no one to be. It happens naturally when the constraints of thought created realities melt away and we rest in our own innate well-being. This can happen when we watch a poignant movie, go for a run, look up at the stars, or simply eat a sandwich...in other words, it can happen at any time. Just knowing it's there within you and letting it happen - this is a good start.

Practicing Qigong isn't a definitive way to get you there, but I've found it's one of the best ways of pointing in that direction. This week class will focus on unfocusing, pulling back, and setting the stage for the good feelings that come from connecting to the oneness outside of time and space.

If you’d like to learn more and try Qigong exercises to help reduce stress and increase energy, check out this FREE Simple & Easy 10-minute Video Routine. Truly a great addition to your day!
